EPC Ratings

The vast majority of properties in the UK possess an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Should a property lack one or have an expired certificate, our service ensures clients receive an EPC as part of the survey process. Existing EPCs can be found using the following services: (a) Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), (b) Display Energy Certificates (DECs) for public buildings, and (c) Air Conditioning Inspection Certificates and reports.

EPCs categorise properties into seven bands: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Properties currently qualifying range from D to G ratings. The EPC register outlines the type of heating source currently installed in your property.

Should a property’s rating potentially improve by two SAP ratings (e.g., from an E to a C), it becomes eligible for free upgrades. Our experts will advise you on available energy efficiency measures for installation and the potential savings you will make in your energy bills.
